Chapters of Dublin News and Updates

The archived news page of Chapters of Dublin History, noting new material, genealogy downloads, Irish history videos and pages on Irish anthems.

The page is preserved much as it was captured in 2007, so some of the services and links it mentions no longer exist. The motto at the top, Obedientia Civium Urbis Felicitas, is that of the city of Dublin and appears on its coat of arms. The history videos it mentions are listed in the Irish history video gallery, and the anthem pages are Amhrán na bhFiann and Ireland’s Call.

Welcome to Chapters News & Updates

I decided to add this page so that the introduction on the main page is a little less crowded and I can keep you updated on any new additions added to the website as well as news and links.

Out goes the blog as this news page is more suited to the needs of this website besides I’m not writer and this page is much easier to update than the blog.

Added to the Genealogy section three new free great software downloads, ****The Genealogy Finder, ****Atlas of Britain and Ireland 1899 and ********GenealogyJ, for more information and to download
